By downloading, installing, or using Calcolado ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Calcolado. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Calcolado. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@calcolado.app if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access due to your failure to protect your credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure.
Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the App.
Impersonate any person or entity.

5. Health Disclaimer

Calcolado provides calorie and nutrition information for general wellness purposes only. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine. We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use of the App.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Calcolado offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and are subject to their respective terms. Refunds are handled according to the platform's refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including design, text, graphics, and code — is owned by Calcolado and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App, which will permanently remove your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calcolado is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
